Only 2 days until I leave...

The last six weeks have flown by very quickly, and now it is just over 2 days until I leave for Indonesia! I will be stopping in Dubai enroute to Jakarta & staying at a B & B recommended by a work colleague http://www.fusionhotels.com/jumeirahdubaibedandbreakfast.html

I'll arrive in Jakarta a few days after their parliamentary election on Thursday April 9th - ''...The campaign for the parliamentary election...the third since Suharto’s (who ruled for 32 years until 1998) downfall, has been a carnival of democratic competition: flag-waving, horn-honking processions; television-advertising blitzes; mass rallies with a few speeches, gifts of free T-shirts, 20,000 rupiah ($2) notes and, most important, singing and dancing....'

Here's a few links about the elections...

  2. Hello from a wonderfully sunny UK (I know you're still here but...)

IH fixed all air conditioning problems over the weekend and we've upgraded the servers - connection here is so fast - wow!

The people of Woking are smiling and the world is at peace! Our new CEO granted everyone a 20% payrise just this morning... bet you're glad to be moving on, right? ;-)

I guess my jealousy had to show a bit, don't blame me for trying to make you feel bad at leaving us here.

Truely, I am very sorry not to have been with you Friday. Firstly coz I was hoping to say goodbye, also because I was laid up and not well. (Something like a bone in my leg).

I wish you well for the trip Susan and I look forward to hearing your news very soon.

Your chair by the way; very comfy!
